Road marking’s visibility, the retroreflectivity is correlated with roadway safety, it directly presented as the night visibility (RL) of pavement markings. TBTRMR-VM vehicle-mounted marking retroreflectometer provides continuous and efficient assessment and full overview of the condition of the road markings at traffic speed without blocking traffic. The detection performance matches to the handheld retroreflective measurements. 

 

The system is mainly composed of host, computer processing system and DMI (distance measuring wheel). The host is consist of optical measurement system, control system, imaging driver assistance system, height / tilt compensation system and Beidou positioning antenna.

 

Main features:

1. Compact and light in weight, quick for installation and removal.

2. Automatic angles calibration, automatic detect marking width. 

3. High-precision positioning of Beidou system, real-time map data updating. 

4. Providing panoramic images of road marking conditions, user can draw marking maintenance maps and marking asset management map basing on the inspected data. 

5. Can work 24/7 except for severe weather such as ice, snow and stagnant water.

6. Come with high-precision pulsed-laser ranging device (12-bit gray-scale line scanning camera).

7. Data collected by laptop. 

8. Large-capacity data storage supports expansion and data exportation. 

9. Super-capacity rechargeable lithium battery supports continuous work for 300KM test. The device also can be outlet to the vehicle power system.

10. Drive in the middle of lane and simultaneously measure double lines with individual RL values each.
