TBTVS-3M is geotechnical testing instrument that directly tests the undrained shear strength of clay by manually pressing it into the soil layer on-site.
The device has maximum testing depth of 3m, measurement range of 0~260 kPa and accuracy better than 10%.
1) A large-range torque meter measures the soil resistance under shear torsion of the vane head in the soil, thereby obtaining the shear strength of the tested soil;
2) Six extension rods, each Φ10mm in diameter and 500mm in length, connected end-to-end, can reach a maximum length of 3m;
3) Vane head: available in four sizes to accommodate testing soils with different shear strengths.
