Introduction:
Los Angeles Abrasion Tester is used to determine the resistance of aggregates to abrasion.
Used to measure the degradation of mineral aggregates of standard gradings resulting from a combination of actions including abrasion or attrition, impact, and grinding in a rotating steel drum containing a specified number of steel spheres.
Relative Standards:ASTM C131, JTJ058-2000
Main Features:
The tester should be mounted on flat and firm concrete bed and fix it with base screws.
After connected power, trigger the switch (preset revolution: 1r/min.) to check if the rotating direction of the tester accords with the narrow direction.
After preset revolutions, switch on and check if it will stop automatically according to the revolutions to be preset.
After finished the calibration, put the steel balls and stone material into the cylinder and close the cover of the tester well, to set revolutions and then start the test.
