For some stone aggregates, the abrasion strength are different depend on in state of dry or moist. This Deval machine is used to measure specific abrasion strength of aggregates, then to determine the quality of it.

The machine mainly consists of 4 rolling cylinder tanks, sealing covers, holding frame, gearbox, motor and controller.

Main features:

The 4 cylinder tanks are mounted on two horizontal axis. Each cylinder can be used for one test.

The cylinder tanks are made of stainless-steel (Z 2 CN 18-10).

Inside the cylinder, there should not be any uneven due to welding.

The milling balls which to be put in cylinder and rolling with specimen, are made of stainless steel Z 30 C 13 of diameter 10±0.5mm.  

Electric motor drives the cylinders rotating at a constant speed of 100±5 tr/min to perform abrasion testing. The engine will be automatically stopped at end of the test.
