TBT-9168A is designed referring to ASTM D1160 Standard Test Method for Distillation of Petroleum Products at Reduced Pressure.
It is used to determine the range of boiling points for petroleum products that can be partially or completely vaporized at a maximum liquid temperature of 400℃.
1. It has built-in industrial PC with color touchscreen, providing real-time display of the testing process and data;
2. Equipped with precision vacuum valve and a built-in vacuum control system that automatically regulates vacuum pressure, ensuring the maintenance of high vacuum levels and exceptional stability throughout the test;
3. Includes a built-in cold trap utilizing semiconductor refrigeration technology, featuring a compact and efficient cooling unit structure;
4. The system automatically converts the detected temperature to the equivalent temperature at standard atmospheric pressure, based on the current pressure within the vacuum system;
5. Cooling Water Circulation System: The system automatically maintains the cooling water temperature within a range of ±3°C of the set point. Upon completion of the experiment, the water within the circulation loop automatically drains back into the reservoir. The reservoir is fitted with a liquid level observation window and an overflow port to prevent overfilling; additionally, an internal liquid level switch prevents the heating element and water pump from activating in the absence of water;
6. The heating power of the distillation furnace can be precisely adjusted using a dedicated control knob.
7. The lifting platform’s vertical movement—up, down, or stop—is controlled via a dedicated knob located on the left side of the device;
8. Features a built-in automatic condensate recovery system: oil vapors captured by the cold trap during the experiment liquefy as the trap's temperature rises post-experiment, automatically flowing into a recovery bottle for convenient collection and measurement by the user;
9. Features a dual-opening tempered glass door structure that provides a clear, unobstructed view of the testing process; the interior is equipped with LED lighting to facilitate easy observation and data reading;
10. It has protective gas inlet port, allowing for the introduction of a gentle stream of carbon dioxide to cool the distillation flask and heating furnace. If the device needs to be disassembled before the furnace has naturally cooled below 200°C, this gentle carbon dioxide stream can also be used to safely repressurize the system;
11. Enables one-touch recording of the initial distillation point (IBP) and its corresponding time, or the recovery temperature and time at any specific recovered volume;
12. Automatically saves experimental data; users can generate a formal test report, export data to a USB flash drive, or connect a USB-compatible printer to directly print the experimental report;
13. Upon completion of the experiment, the system automatically activates cooling fans; the lifting platform can then be manually lowered to separate the furnace from the flask, thereby rapidly reducing the temperatures of both the furnace and the flask to minimize waiting times.
