TBT 2Y-25F CPT Trailer is with probe rigs mounted on haul trailer, which can be towed easily by a 4-wheeldrive car, can be used in almost any terrain, provides the same high penetration force as CPT truck, but at significantly lower capital cost, penetration capacities is up to 250kN.

The probe rigs are pushed into the ground at a constant speed and the mechanical resistance & friction parameters of the soil are recorded, it’s used for determination the bearing capacity of foundation.

It is workable in soft soil, cohesive soil, old clay, loess and sandy soil.

If equipped with additional accessories, it can perform further more in-situ testings such as DMT, CPTU, MPT, WVT, VCT.

Main Features:

The self-propelled CPT truck carries it’s own ballast weight, whereas operations with the lighter trailer require extra time to set soil anchors to provide the required reaction force. The trailer is suitable for locations that are difficult to access with heavy units such as truck.
