Introduction:

The Rock free dilatometer is used to determine the expansion rate of stone in liquid.

It measures the ratio of rock specimen radial & axial deformation after being immersed in water against the original diameter & height of the specimen, it is expressed as a percentage.

The instrument comes complete with permeable plate and dial gauge.
