TBT-5096A is designed referring to ASTM D130 Standard Test Method for Detection of Copper Corrosion from Petroleum Products by Copper Strip Tarnish Test.

It is suitable to determine the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuels, automotive gasoline, tractor fuels, washing solvent, kerosene distillate, lubricating oil, and other petroleum products. The device has functions of temperature controlling, automatic timing and alarming.

1.The device features temperature control, automatic timing, and an end-of-test alarm;

2.Equipped with four test ports, the device accommodates one test bomb or three test tubes per port for simultaneous testing, delivering high throughput;

3.The high-precision LCD temperature controller provides automated operation with ±1°C control accuracy;

4.The water bath, test bombs, and test tube racks adopt stainless steel for corrosion and oxidation resistance;

5.A standard color comparator chart is provided; this device is not applicable to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or aviation fuels.
